Best App Ever, free or not
I am not a consistent person. I struggle to follow a program. I also waste time looking up form, how to do a workout, I just don’t use my time well at the gym. This app is a game changer. It can set up a program for you, provides a video on “how to,” as well as written instructions, allows you to swap out and exercise with one click, and all that for free. Anyone that works out should have this app. I’m done looking and paying for garbage apps. Thank you Strength Log for existing.

This is a common issue for many lifters: to be continuous and efficient while visiting the gym. The best lifting app
I tried so many different apps throughout my lifting journey, and this one has been amazing. I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this app!

A few things I love about it:
-It has a fantastic free version that allowed me to try it for several months before deciding that I actually did want to upgrade. It isn’t one of those apps that has a garbage free version such that you have to commit to it in order to find out if you actually like it. You can totally function just as well with the free version, but the paid version really does level you up once you are in the swing of things. And, for me, the price is reasonable especially when comparing to going to a boutique gym with instruction / barbell club
-The programs allow you to immediately jump into lifting on your own because they are simple and have great descriptions of how you are supposed to handle the workout as well as GIFS for each exercise. These don’t get old either, even for exercises I am more advanced at. I continue to revisit them to improve.
-Huge log of exercises that include GIFs for most of them, as well as in-depth descriptions.
-Cute monthly challenges that allow you to push a little bit further and make you feel like you achieved something
-Lots of features within the workout function: stopwatch / timer, logs of your past activity, comments on exercises / workouts, ways to easily add to or adjust the workout, etc. I could go on and on!
-they are constantly adding new features and improvements, so you can tell they care

Just what I’ve been looking for
This app is great for my needs. I work out at my home gym and was tracking things very poorly before, just slapping together exercises and workloads. Since using this app I’ve progressed in all my lifts and it helps me stay consistent with my workouts. I went with the paid version which has a ton of great options and worth every penny.

Whether you’re working out in a gym or at home, we’ve got you covered. There will be a program that suits your needs, and if you need to change some exercises due to the available equipment, that’s an easy switch to do in your active workouts.

Awsome App and Features
I’d looked everywhere for a good app for logging my weightlifting and keeping track of my weights for progression. This app is great! Even the free version doesn’t limit functionality and It has great visuals. I love the virtual barbell where you can see the different plates loading on the bar as you add weight! The ability to add videos of you performing each set is a great feature that could be awesome for creating memorable lifting logs and seeing PR’s!

Kudos to the front and back end devs for making such an aesthetic and functional app!

Many lifters, like the one in this review, are searching for an app that logs their lifting journey and visually tracks their progression. We’ve done our best to meet this need.

The option to add videos of each set turns the app into more than just a log; it becomes a personal lifting diary. Watching your own progress and personal records through these videos can be motivating and rewarding, but it also helps you to get a good overview of your progress in technique etc.

Perfect. Simple. Free.
I never write app reviews. Going out of my way to write this review, as this app has been a game changer for my workouts. Without this app, I’d try to do it myself via the Notes app which got confusing and unorganized. This app helped me to hone in on my progress and push me to my limits.

I’m a beginner when it comes to fitness, and this has been my new personal trainer. I’ve seen tremendous progress and this app has been the main driver. Thank you for keeping this free, I’ll be a life long user for sure.
