What to Expect From the Free StrengthLog Fitness Advent Calendar:
- A new workout every day from December 1st to December 25th! All contain some form of traditional strength training.
- A good mix of upper and lower body training.
- Most workouts take less than ten minutes—and won’t interfere with your regular training routine.
- You need access to gym equipment for weekday workouts, but you’ll train using only your body weight during the weekends (and on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
- Even though one new workout becomes available daily, you can choose to do them later if that suits your schedule better. The calendar is available in-app until midnight on New Year’s Eve, meaning you’ll have until December 31st to finish all 25.
- If you save workouts for later, you can add as many as you like to the same active workout in the app. Once you have an active workout going in the app, just open a new calendar door and tap ”start workout”. The app will ask if you want to add that calendar workout, too, to your already active workout.
- The app helps you track which workouts you’ve opened and trained and which you have left to finish. Just look at the Christmas tree on the app’s start screen to see which candles are lit or not.

When We Say It’s Free, We Mean Free
There’s no restrictions on how many workouts you can log, or anything like that.
Yes, we have a premium offer in-app that gives you access to a handful of hardcore strength training features (that most users won’t need) and our more advanced workouts and training programs. But most of the app is free, and best of all, there are no ads in the app!
The StrengthLog Fitness Advent Calendar is our yearly gift to all users—this is our sixth year in a row making one—and we place it up front and center on the start screen during December.
It contains something for everyone, but everything might not be for everybody. And that’s fine. Most users haven’t checked off every door in the calendar in the past; just pick the ones you feel will enrich your training.

- What is it? Twenty-five different workouts, from December 1st to December 25th. Sometimes playful and easy, sometimes a bit tougher but maybe even more amusing.
- Why? Because it’ll be fun! Because trying something new will make you happy! Because Christmas can be stressful and messy and it’s easy to lose track of your training routine during all this, but we’ve made most of the workouts short and sweet so that you can squeeze them in quickly and still feel the gratification of having trained that day too!
- What equipment do I need to participate? It varies. Some days, you’ll only need your body and Earth’s gravity, while other days, you’ll need to visit a gym.
- Do I have to? Of course you do. On the other hand, absolutely not. Join in just as much or as little as you want.
- Where do I find the workout calendar? It’s exclusive for users of our training app StrengthLog. The app (and calendar) is free to use, and it is available for both iOS and Android.
- Why can’t I see the calendar in the app? You need to update to version 6.5! If you visit Google Play or App Store, it’s already waiting for you there.
- How long does the calendar stay in the app? We’ll take it down once New Year’s Eve 2024 has come and gone. That means you have a good chance of opening and finishing all twenty-five workouts in the calendar, but do not wait for too long …
