
How to Do Crossbody Cable Triceps Extension
- Stand centered between the two cable stations of a cable machine, with the cables attached to the high pulleys on each side.
- Hold a cable in each hand and stand upright with your elbows bent in front of your chest so that the cables cross your body diagonally.
- Keep your upper arms close to your body and lower your shoulders to stabilize the starting position.
- Extend your arms by pressing the handles diagonally downward and away from your body until your arms are fully straightened.
- Briefly pause at the bottom, then bend your elbows in a controlled manner back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Commentary
This exercise engage the triceps throughout the range of motion, thanks to the constant tension from the cable machine.
