How to Do Wood Chops (High to Low)

  1. Fasten a handle in cable machine, as high up as possible. Grip the handle with both hands, step away, and stand sideways to the cable’s anchor point.
  2. With almost straight arms, make a sweeping, chopping-like movement diagonally downward.
  3. Return to the starting position in a controlled manner.

Commentary

Wood chops from high to low is a good exercise for your oblique abdominal muscles, as it combines its rotating and flexing actions on the torso.
