How to Do Bayesian Curl
- Stand in front of a cable machine with the handle attached to the lower pulley. Hold the handle in one hand and position yourself with your back facing the machine.
- Step forward slightly so that the cable creates light tension, and lean your torso slightly forward.
- Keep your elbow close to your body, starting with your arm extended behind you.
- Bend your elbow and pull the handle forward and upward, contracting your biceps at the top. Keep your upper arm stationary throughout the movement.
- Slowly lower back to the starting position and repeat.
Commentary
The Bayesian Curl effectively isolates the biceps by maintaining constant tension from the cable and provides a greater range of motion than traditional curls.
